세상 가운데서 영향력을 끼치는 빛과 소금으로 살아가려면 일에 대한 우리의 태도가 바뀌어야 합니다.
우리가 신나게 춤추듯 일한다면 주위의 사람들은 그 비결을 알고싶어 할 것입니다.어떻게 하면 춤추듯 일할 수 있을까요?
If we are to make an impact in the world as salt and light, we need to change our attitude toward work. If we could enjoy working like dancing to music, those around us would want to know the secret. How can we develop such attitude toward our work?
I. 성경적인 직업관을 회복해야 합니다.
We need to regain a biblical perspective on work.
우리의 생업이 하나님의 일이라고 말할 수 있는 성경적인 근거:
Biblical basis for saying that our work is God’s work:
1. 하나님께서 세상을 창조하셨지만 그 창조물들을 돌보는 일은 우리에게 주신 소중한 사명입니다(창
1:28).
God created the world and called us to take care of His creation (Genesis 1:28).
2. 하나님의 형상을 따라 지음받은 인간은 창조하시는 하나님을 닮아 일하는 사람으로 창조되었습니다(창 1:26, 31).
We are made in the image of God, the Creator and our work resembles His work in creation (Genesis 1:26, 31).
3. 하나님께서 우리에게 일하게 하신 의도는 삶의 만족을 누리고 행복을 맛보게 하기 위함입니다.
God gave us work so that we would enjoy life’s satisfaction and a taste of happiness.

II. 성경적인 성공관을 가져야 합니다.
We need to have a biblical perspective on success.
인간은 하나님께 인정받는 삶이 되기 전에는 영혼이 만족을 누리지 못하게 창조된 존재입니다(벧전 4:10-
11). 어떤 삶이 하나님이 평가할 때에 성공적인 삶일까요?
We are created to find satisfaction only by receiving God’s approval (1 Peter 4:10-11). What kind of life
does God approve to be successful?
1. 자기 자신이 되십시오(마 25:14-29, 고후 10:13).
Be yourself (Matthew 25:14-29; 2 Corinthians 10:13).
2. 가진 재능을 충성되게 사용하십시오(마 25:21,23, 골 3:23).
Use your ability faithfully (Matthew 25:21, 23; Colossians 3:23).
III. 후회 없이 삶을 투자할 소명을 회복해야 합니다.
We need to rediscover a calling that we would invest our life without regret.
소명을 위해 살면 삶의 질이 달라집니다. 어떻게 하면 소명을 따라 살아갈 수 있을까요?
Living for a calling changes the quality of life. How can we pursue our life’s calling?
1. 소명은 지금 있는 자리에서 시작됩니다(고전 7:17).
Our calling begins where we are (1 Corinthians 7:17).
2. 소명은 이미 우리에게 있는 것을 사용하는 것을 통하여 이루어집니다(출 4:2).
Our calling is fulfilled as we use what we already have (Exodus 4:2).
3. 소명은 주의 깊게 경청하는 것을 통하여 발견됩니다.
Our calling is discovered through attentive listening.
(1) 마음의 소리에 귀를 기울이세요(전 5:11).
Listen to your heart (Ecclesiastes 5:11)
(2) 성경을 통해서 들어야 합니다(행 20:35).
Listen to God’s voice through the Bible (Acts 20:35).
