사순절에 만나야 할 예수님(1): 결심하심
Encountering Jesus during the Lent (1): His Determination
(눅/Luke 9:51-62)
사순절 기간은 예수님이 십자가에 돌아가심을 기억하는 기간입니다. 이 기간을 영어로 '렌트'(the Lent)라고 부르는 이유는 '렌트'(the Lent)의 어원이 만물의 소생을 의미하기 때문입니다. 그러므로 사순절은 십자가의 고난을 통하여 우리에게 영원한 생명을 주신 예수님의 삶을 기억하는 기간입니다. 십자가를 눈 앞에 두시고 걸어가신 주님의 발자취를 따라가려면 어떻게 살아야 할까요?
The Lent is a season to remember that Jesus died on the cross for us. It is called 'Lent' because the word means 'bringing all creation back to life again.' Therefore, we are to remember the life of Jesus who gave us eternal life through his suffering on the cross. How shall we live so that we would follow in the footsteps of the Lord who walked toward the cross?
1. 무엇에 삶을 투자할 것인가를 결심해야 합니다.
Decide what you will invest your life in.
1) 포기해야 할 것들을 버리는 결심이 필요합니다.
Resolve to get rid of what you need to give up.
2) 하나님의 영광을 위해 사는 결심이 필요합니다.
Resolve to live for the glory of God.
2. 하나님의 타이밍에 순종할 것을 결심해야 합니다.
Decide to obey God’s timing.
1) 모든 일에는 하나님의 시간이 있습니다.
God has set a time for everything.
2) 하나님의 타이밍을 놓지지 말아야 합니다.
Do not miss God’s timing.
3) 기회를 붙잡는 결단력이 성패를 좌우합니다.
Success depends on decisiveness to seize an opportunity.
3. 합당한 대가를 지불할 것을 결심해야 합니다.
Decide to pay the price.
1) '오해'라는 대가를 지불해야 합니다.
Pay the price of ‘misunderstanding.’
2) '고독'이라는 대가를 지불해야 합니다.
Pay the price of ‘loneliness.’
3) '포기'라는 대가를 지불해야 합니다.
Pay the price of ‘renouncement.’
